Coconut & Cacao Lean Porridge

Ingredients

3/4 cup rolled oat 70g

1/2 cup Virgin Coconut Water 130g

2 tablespoon Virgin Coconut Meat thawed 20g

1 small pear

1 teaspoon raw cacao powder 2.5g

1/2 tablespoon cinnamon powder 1.75g

1/4 tablespoon vanilla powder 0.75g (optional but recommended)

4-5 walnut kernels

1-2 squares dark chocolate

Method

  1. Mix the oat and the coconut water together in bowl and set aside. It takes only minutes for the oat to soak up the coconut water so you can prepare the rest in the meantime.
  2. Grate half of the pear. Chop the walnuts, the dark chocolate and the coconut meat into pieces. Chop into small pieces also the remaining half of the pear.
  3. Add the shredded half pear, the cacao powder, the cinnamon powder and the vanilla powder to the oat and mix well. Incorporate also the coconut meat and most of the chopped nuts, pear and dark chocolate.
  4. The best thing about this porridge is the fact that you would not need to sweeten it with anything other than fruit. MightyBee Virgin coconut water has the perfect level of sweetness to make it delicious!
  5. Decorate with the remaining pieces of pear, walnuts and chocolate. Enjoy chilled!
